The GSFC VLBI group engages in a variety of activities aimed at improving the VLBI technique. Recent activities have included:

• developing an alternative strategy for scheduling IVS-INT01 sessions
• supporting IYA2009, the largest astrometric VLBI session ever attempted
• evaluating ITRF2008 before and after its adoption
• generating a new empirical high frequency EOP tidal model
• studying station motion after recent significant earthquakes
• VLBI2010 simulations
• regularizing VLBI time series
• developing a new least squares analysis package

and many other activities. Additional information can be obtained by contacting Dr. John Gipson .
